President Trump weighs escalation of the conflict with Iran as criticism of the battle grows. On Washington Week With The Atlantic, panelists joined to debate a few of the frustration from Republican lawmakers, voters, and conservative media.

Amongst Republicans in Congress, discontent is rising over “a scarcity of solutions from this administration on what the target is, what the timeline is, what the ramifications are, and what the top sport truly is” in Iran, Leigh Ann Caldwell, the chief Washington correspondent at Puck, mentioned final night time. “When members of Congress are requested to fund billions and billions of {dollars}, when their constituents are those being placed on the road for this, persistence clearly wears fairly skinny.”
